Hymns to Kuan Yin
Blessed be you, lady of compassion.
Your loving embrace surrounds us all.
Male nor female exists within you.
You, O beautiful one, answer our call,
No matter who or what we are.
Our gratitude to you, blessed one
Who watches over babes and women.
Protect us with your graceful might,
And lead us to stand strong, straight, and tall.
Heart Hard
Dwell within my heart, Kuan Yin
Because I cannot find compassion.
There is no love in me.
Come, teach me mercy and understanding,
I, whose heart is hard, have need of your grace.
Give me vision beyond this mortal frame,
And make me whole of heart, mind, and soul
The disconnection is breaking my heart apart,
And it is empty.
